🛒 Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti/ramen)

  • 1 lb ground beef (or thinly sliced beef strips)

  • 1 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 1 cup snap peas or bell peppers, sliced

  • 3 green onions, chopped

For the Sauce:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin sauce)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp chili paste or sriracha (optional for heat)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Noodles

Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente.
Drain and toss lightly with sesame oil. Set aside.

2. Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and chili paste. Add cornstarch slurry and set aside.

3. Brown the Beef

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.

4. Add Aromatics & Veggies

Stir in garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add carrots, snap peas, and green onions. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.

5. Combine Everything

Add cooked noodles to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and toss well to coat.
