Chocolate Slim Cake (Loaf Pan)
Ingredients
Dry
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
Wet
2 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk (or warm water)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional chocolate topping
½ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
¼ cup cream or milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth (batter will be slightly thin).
Pour into the loaf pan.
Bake 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
Chocolate Glaze (optional, like in the photo)
Melt chocolate with cream/milk over low heat or microwave.
Pour over the cake and let it set.
Tips
For extra moist cake, replace milk with warm coffee.
For a lighter texture, sift the dry ingredients.
Slice once fully cooled for clean cuts.
