This crowd-favorite Dorito Taco Salad is the ultimate mix of crunchy, cheesy, and zesty! A nostalgic potluck classic made with seasoned beef, cool veggies, and that signature Doritos crunch. Whether served family-style or build-your-own, it’s always a hit!
🛒 Ingredients

1 large bag Doritos Nacho Cheese Chips, lightly crushed

1 lb lean ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 red onion, diced

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

1 head lettuce, shredded

6 tomatoes, chopped

½ cup Italian dressing

2 cups ranch dressing
👩🍳 Instructions1. Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
Drain excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning along with the Italian and ranch dressings.
Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the liquid is mostly absorbed.
2. Prep the Veggies
While the meat mixture cools slightly, shred the lettuce, chop the tomatoes, and dice the onion.
3. Assemble the Salad
You can serve this two ways:

Build-your-own style: Arrange the lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, and crushed Doritos in separate bowls so everyone can customize.

4. Serve
Serve immediately while the chips are still crispy! If you prefer it cold, chill the ingredients separately and mix just before serving.
