Caesar Chicken with Asparagus
Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)

1 lb (450 g) asparagus, trimmed
-
½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Juice of ½ lemon + lemon wedges for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Season the chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. -
Sear the chicken
Heat olive oil (and butter if using) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and mostly cooked through.
Remove chicken and set aside. -
Cook the asparagus
In the same skillet, add asparagus and garlic.
Sauté for 2–3 minutes until just tender but still bright green. -
Make it Caesar-style
Reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir in Caesar dressing and lemon juice, scraping up browned bits from the pan. -
Combine & finish
Nestle chicken back into the skillet over the asparagus.
Spoon sauce over the chicken.
Sprinkle Parmesan generously on top. -
Melt & serve
Cover skillet and cook 3–5 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked (165°F / 74°C) and cheese is melted.
Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
