Creamy Garlic Chicken Bowl with Broccoli & Rice 🍚🥦🍗
Ingredients
Chicken
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Broccoli & Rice
1½ cups broccoli florets
1 cup uncooked white rice (or brown rice)
2 cups water or chicken broth
Salt (to taste)
Creamy Garlic Sauce
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Optional: ½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
Instructions
1. Cook the Rice
Rinse rice.
Cook with water or broth according to package instructions.
Keep warm.
2. Cook the Broccoli
Steam or boil broccoli for 3–4 minutes until bright green and tender.
Lightly salt and set aside.
3. Cook the Chicken
Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
Let rest 5 minutes, then slice.
4. Make the Creamy Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t burn).
Pour in cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
Simmer until slightly thick.
5. Assemble the Bowl
Add rice to a bowl
Top with broccoli and sliced chicken
Drizzle generously with creamy garlic sauce
