easy homemade pancake recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

  • ½ tsp vanilla (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
    In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, oil (or butter), and vanilla.

  3. Combine
    Pour wet ingredients into dry. Mix gently until just combined (a few small lumps are okay).

  4. Cook pancakes

    • Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat

    • Lightly grease the pan

    • Pour about ¼ cup batter for each pancake

    • Cook until bubbles form on top (about 1–2 minutes)

    • Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden

  5. Serve warm
    Stack them up and enjoy!
