1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbsp oil or melted butter

½ tsp vanilla (optional)
Instructions

Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. -
Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, oil (or butter), and vanilla. -
Combine
Pour wet ingredients into dry. Mix gently until just combined (a few small lumps are okay). -
Cook pancakes

Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat

Lightly grease the pan

Pour about ¼ cup batter for each pancake

Cook until bubbles form on top (about 1–2 minutes)

Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden

Serve warm
