Ingredients

6 ripe tomatoes, finely diced

3 jalapeños, finely chopped (remove seeds for less heat)

1 medium white onion, finely chopped

½ medium red onion, finely chopped

1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (use less if preferred)

5 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 2 limes (or to taste)

Salt, to taste

Optional: a pinch of black pepper or cumin
Instructions

Wash all vegetables thoroughly.

Dice tomatoes and place them in a large bowl.

Finely chop jalapeños, onions, cilantro, and garlic.

Add everything to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Pour in fresh lime juice and sprinkle with salt.

Mix well and taste—adjust salt or lime as needed.

Let sit for 15–30 minutes so flavors blend.
