🛒 Ingredients
-
2 cans (12–13 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls, with icing
-
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith work great)
-
½ cup chopped pecans
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
¼ cup melted butter
-
¼ cup heavy cream (or milk, for a lighter version)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the Pan
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. Slice the Cinnamon Rolls
-
Open the cans and set the icing aside.
-
Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place them into a large mixing bowl.
3. Add the Good Stuff
-
Add the diced apples and chopped pecans to the bowl.
-
Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, melted butter, and heavy cream.
-
Gently toss everything together until well coated.
4. Bake
-
Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
-
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
-
Check at 25 minutes — if the top is browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
5. Drizzle with Icing
-
Once baked, let it cool for about 5 minutes.
-
Warm the reserved icing slightly and drizzle generously over the top.
-
Optional: Sprinkle extra chopped pecans for a pretty finish.
💡 Tips & Variations
-
Add a dash of nutmeg or allspice for more fall flavor.
-
Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving for extra sweetness.
-
Swap pecans for walnuts or skip nuts entirely if preferred.
-
For extra decadence, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
