🛒 Ingredients
-
2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
-
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
-
2 tablespoons melted butter
-
Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or ½ teaspoon almond extract for extra flavor
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the Crock Pot
Lightly grease the bottom and sides of your slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray. You can also line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2. Layer the Ingredients
-
Open one can of cinnamon rolls, separate them, and cut each roll into quarters.
-
Place half of these cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker.
-
Spoon half the cherry pie filling over the cinnamon roll layer.
-
Repeat with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces and pie filling.
-
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
3. Cook
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on LOW for 2 to 2½ hours, or until the rolls are fully cooked through and fluffy.
Avoid opening the lid too often — it slows down cooking.
4. Add the Icing
Once cooked, drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top while warm.
You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon or powdered sugar for presentation.
5. Serve
Spoon warm servings into bowls or plates.
Optional: top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a decadent dessert.
💡 Tips
-
To make it extra rich, drizzle with cream cheese glaze or white chocolate drizzle before serving.
-
For variety, try apple pie filling or blueberry pie filling instead of cherry.
-
Cooking times can vary slightly depending on your crock pot size — check for doneness at the 2-hour mark.
