Low Point Pizza Recipe

By: Rabia

Servings: 1 pizza (2–3 servings)
SmartPoints: 4–6 points (per serving, depending on toppings)

Ingredients:

  • Base:

    • 1 cup self-rising flour (11 SP) or 1 cup all-purpose flour + 1½ tsp baking powder + pinch salt

    • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt (0 SP)

  • Toppings (customizable):

    • ¼ cup low-fat shredded mozzarella (2 SP)

    • ¼ cup pizza sauce (1 SP) – choose low-sugar brands

    • ½ cup zero-point veggies (bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, spinach)

    • Lean turkey pepperoni (about 10 slices = 1 SP) optional

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Make dough: In a bowl, mix flour and yogurt until it forms a dough. Knead for 2–3 mins until smooth.

  3. Shape base: Roll out the dough into a pizza shape (about 8–10 inches wide).

  4. Add sauce & toppings: Spread pizza sauce, sprinkle cheese, and add veggies/meat.

  5. Bake: Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake for 12–15 mins, or until crust is golden and cheese melted.

  6. Slice & enjoy!

💡 Tip:

  • Skip pepperoni for an even lower point pizza.

  • Use fat-free cheese to save 1–2 SmartPoints per slice.

  • Make mini pizzas for portion control.
