Cookie Dough Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
For the cookie dough:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
2 tablespoons milk
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
For the ice cream base:

2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup whole milk
-
3/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Make the edible cookie dough:

In a bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

Add milk and vanilla extract and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour and salt together.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.

Stir in mini chocolate chips.

Cover and refrigerate the dough while you prepare the ice cream base.
Prepare the ice cream base:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar is dissolved.

Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Combine:

Break the cookie dough into small chunks.

During the last 5 minutes of churning, add cookie dough chunks to the ice cream maker.

Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 2-4 hours until firm.
